ILD Telecommunications complaint
I did not notice this on my bill for about six months, voicemail billing from ild .who are these scammers and why are we not protected from these by our phone company.I don't have to much that I can say except that I am on a fixed income and I did not sign up for this service, I am in the process of contacting my phone carrier and trying to get this resolved but between work and all their automated phone services I am having a hard time, donn't know where to turn or what else to do.

Folks it's a scam where the phone companies earn a small percentage to bill you. And, they will pull the wool over your eyes if you let them. Don't take no for an answer.

ILD Teleservices has "CRAMMED" you. Cramming is “ILLEGAL”. And, all phone companies make money on billing you with an "illegal contract". Basically - Your phone company is allowing an illegal transaction to make money off of you.

Pac Bell put a stop to it after they learned I had filed a small claims suit & asked for damages.

This stopped them for several years. Then it started again when AT&T took over. And, AT&T was eager to take it off my phone bill instead of facing me in small claims court.

Don't take no for an answer. Sue your phone company & watch them change their tune.

Demand a stop to "CRAMMING" & sue them if they persist. I'll bet they put their tail between their legs just like Pac Bell + AT&T did with me in the past.

ILD Teleservices actually called me with threats to sue me. I told them to “bring it on”. I have a copy of over 100 lawsuits where they lost because of cramming. I can prove what I say and it has happened to many thousands of others.

ILD Teleservices has also been labeled as a "Crammer" by:

The Public Utilities Commission

+ The Federal Trade commission

+ Consumer Affairs

+ PCC

YET -- no government, state or consumer authority has shut them down. There are fines. But, no jail time. It’s been at least 10 years and ILD Teleservices is still allowed to defraud 1,000’s of unsuspecting victims.

Go to my website www.DJJeff.com - Near the bottom of the home page it tells my whole story on how you how to handle these idiots.

This scam is just as bad if not worse than Gasoline Prices.

Our government is allowing us to be screwed. Proof? Go to YouTube.com and search for Lindsey Williams. And, see if you don’t have tears in your eyes before you watch both of his videos. “The Non-Energy Crisis” & “Syndrome of Control”.

I found an entry on my Windstream bill for $ 9 from ILD teleservices. The Windstream billing phone rep patched me through to them. Seems my wife supposedly clicked on a screen at some web site or promo ad that causes that to happen (some small print or checked block somewhere when you exit their ad). They could not tell me that there was any confirmation number or E mail sent to the ad browser.. Sounds a bit shady to me. They were quick to say they would refund the money for this month and the next as it was past the biling cycle. The customer service number ILD provided was 800-215-1961.

I have not verified this number but hope it can help prople resolve issues with this shady company .. I also do not have a credit yet but hope to see it on the next bill

I've been scammed by ILD also 3 months ago charges appeared on my Verizon phone bill for a supposed long distance from them. I have no long distance on my phone even have a long distance block in place for over 2 years now from Verizon yet they keep billing me month after month. I get no wear when I call them they say "we'll credit your account" but never do and Verizon says there is nothing they can do they are not their charges. I live on $950.00 SSDI check a month and can't afford these unauthorized charges. Isn't there something someone can do about these scam artists?

well welcome me to the club of people that got billed. They used a defunct email address of mine. I called my telephone company and they took the bill off.. however when I called customer service they cancelled but insisted I pay the Bill. I asked to speak to their customer rep. They put me thru to a number that never picked up. I have reported this company. It is a scam and refuse to pay the BIl

I fogot one important observation. Good luck trying to get credit for past payments however, you can

protect yourself from future charges by simply changing over to a competitor. I choose IDT. Their outsourced service providers are more responsive and helpfull. It does'nt cost you a dime to do so and for sure, you save money.

I deducted the ILD charges from my phone bill, only to be charged a late fee on the bill following. The rep from ATT told me that this is a charge authorized by the FCC to be added on to my regular bill. I e-mailed ILD but got no response. I will follow the advice from" also scammed by ILD"

Bad thing about it...the reps at ILD are just kids trying to make a little bit of money and don't care a thing about the FCC, FTC and Consumer Affairs. Years ago, before outsourcing, it may have made a difference but not now. Those reps don't even know what those call letters stand for..nor do they care.

i work at a small business, and we had the same problem with ILD. here is the best way to solve the problem in the least amount of time. call your phone company and press '0' until you get someone on the phone. tell them that you never authorized the charges from ILD and want to file a dispute. ask the representative from the phone company to place a three-way call to ILD. the key is to stay calm + professional. as soon as the rep from ILD comes on the line, tell them that you never authorized any of the charges, that you want a full refund for ALL charges, including any tax, and that they are to stop billing you effectively immediately. also tell them that what they are doing is called 'cramming' and that you are going to file complaints with Consumer Affairs, FCC and FTC. they should agree, knowing that the phone company is listening in on the call. after they confirm the credit, you will receive a confirmation number. after ILD gets off the line, go over what was discussed with the phone rep. they will note that you will receive a credit + instruct you to deduct that amount from your bill. you should receive a credit within 1 to 2 billing cycles. hope this helps!
